Registered School-Initiated Course

Funded by the Province of Manitoba’s Building Sustainable Communities Program and Manitoba Accessibility, the course can be used as a resource to develop a School-Initiated Course (SIC) for credit in Manitoba schools. Schools can apply for a SIC credit through an independent process.

Empowering Learners

The goal of this course is to empower students and learners with a practical toolkit of mental fitness practices that they can apply in everyday life to support their mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

Learners will learn about mental fitness with HLF’s Mental Fitness Matrix © and highly relevant topics of mental health such as:

Interactive Classroom

Based on the Higher Learning Method, this course caters to different learning styles. Learners will participate in activities like:
